Mohannad Alhaj
Founder and CEO
A visionary entrepreneur and telematics specialist with 15+ years of experience in developing innovative products and solutions that disrupt the market and save lives.
Mohannad founded Saferoad in 2009 as a telematics hardware and software provider with a few installed devices for one client and successfully led the company’s continuous growth, reaching the milestone of more than 1000 clients and more than 200k installed devices and sensors in 2022.
He is an expert in IoT, Information Technology, Smart Cities and large scale Digital Transformation. His efforts over the years have been recognized by local and international entities, ministers and high level government officials. He is also an Endeavor entrepreneur member and a smart city and IoT startup mentor for multiple organizations such as KFUPM, MiSK and MIT.
Mohannad has a BA in Information Technology Management from Al-Ahliyya Amman University, he holds an MBSC from the College of Business and Entrepreneurship and he’s a graduate from Stanford University Graduate School of Business as part of the Endeavor Innovation and growth program.

Khaled brings forth leadership, drive and over a decade of experience in handling IT/Network and Server infrastructure and technology enablement in diverse environments.
Skilled in installing and optimizing IT infrastructures to achieve organizational objectives, enhanced performance and customer experience. Outstanding track record of optimizing resources to meet a wide range of business demands and deliver world-class big data solutions to companies, leveraging leading-edge digital technologies, open source, big data, AI, and customer engagement applications for digital marketing and BI solutions.
He expertly manages technical support operations, diligently troubleshoots issues to identify root causes and prevent recurrences. Process improvement champion with a history of implementing new procedures and technologies to strengthen security posture and enhance operational efficiency.
Ali Al Shehri
VP of Strategy
More than 20 years of experience across Telecommunications, Information Technology, IoT, Smart City Solutions and Technology industries where he held leadership positions that highlighted his strategic, managerial and technical capabilities.
Ali successfully developed and directed various strategic IoT projects for Smart Cities, Oil and Gas, Smart Transportation, Safety driving, Government, and Industrial Sectors.
